Various guests gathered at our latest Round Table last week at the Carriage House at 5 Giralda Farms in Madison, NJ to hear from experts and their peers on the topic of Wellness in the Workplace.

Mustafa and Ehran developed ‘The Silver Thread’ from concept through to installation with Flint Fine Art Limited, transforming and repurposing 150 of Humanscales Different Lamps into a free flowing form which sweeps through the showroom.

UPS Groundbreaking Ceremony
Groundbreaking began today on the new UPS technology facility in Parsippany, NJ. Governor Chris Christie spoke about the expansion and innovation of UPS as an example of the growing economy and job opportunities in the state. The building will be the newest facility for UPS’ global information technology operation that has been headquartered in New Jersey since 1991.
Round Table Discussion: Food in the Workplace
“Food in the workplace” signifies different things for different companies. At the end of 2015, our team, clients, and other participants gathered in the New York Inscape Showroom to “dish out” the meaning and significance of one’s food experience at work. The discussion covered a broad range of topics, from reoccurring to new food trends, recommendations and best practices for food integration during the standard 9-5 work day, and ultimately, where food in the workplace is headed in the coming years.

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) hosted its 7th Annual Sustainable Quilt Auction on March 25th at the Open House Gallery in New York City. HLW designers composed one of the nine teams of industry professionals who created and donated one-of-a-kind quilts made from fabric remnants.
