Panasonic Headquarters: First New Office Tower in Newark to Receive Coveted Environmental Certifications

HLW’s Interior Architecture for Panasonic Corporation of North America Achieves LEED Platinum

Panasonic Corporation of North America announced this month that its headquarters at Two Riverfront Plaza, a state-of-the-art, 340,000 sf, 12-story Class A office tower, was awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification for Commercial Interiors by the U.S. Green Building Council. Panasonic’s headquarters building was jointly developed by SJP Properties and Matrix Development Group. HLW designed the interior architecture. The facility is the first new office tower in Newark to receive both LEED Platinum and Gold environmental certifications.
